Mr. John Willie Johnson, age 75, passed away May 7th at his residence. He was a Screven County native, but resided in Bulloch County for many years. He was a retired cable installer and a member of Simmons Branch Baptist Church. He is survived by his loving children Trish (Javis) Mays, and John C. (Sonya) Kirkland both of Statesboro, Ga.; a loving step-son Lawrence Scott of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving sisters Ms. Gracie Hendrix, Ms. Ossie Mae (H.B.) Hendrix, and Ms. Sarah Ferrell all of Statesboro, Ga., and Ms. Catherine Duncan of Sylvania, Ga.; his loving brothers Mr. George (Lavon) Johnson of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. Arthur Greene of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitations will be held Friday May 13, 2016 from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. John Willie Johnson will be held Saturday May 14, 2016 at 2pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. John T. McPhatter, Officiating. Interment will be held in the Little Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Brooklet, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
