Mr. Jimmie Lee Brewton, age 68, of Pembroke, GA, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Center. He was a Bryan County native and a retired truck driver. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ms. Mildred Coppock Thomas. He is survived by his son, Jimmy D. (Tina) Watts of Clermont, Florida; his daughter, April (Issac) Smith of Guyton, Georgia; three sisters, Ms. Jeanette Harris of Savannah, Georgia, Ms. Diann Jiles and Mrs. Catherine (Edward) Jerome, both of Atlanta, Georgia; two brothers, Mr. Oscar (Janice) Thomas, Jr. of Claxton, Georgia and Mr. Gary (Marion) Thomas of Jacksonville, Florida; one grandson, Darrius C. Watts of Clermont, Florida and four granddaughters, Brianna and Dezhane Smith and Nareauna and Nazharae Whitaker of Guyton, Georgia and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitation will be Friday, March 6th, from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel. The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Jimmie Lee Brewton will be Saturday, March 7, 2015, at 11:00 am at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Pembroke,Ga., with the Rev. Delmons White, Officiating, and the Rev. Francys Johnson, Pastor. Interment will be held in Stevens Grove Cemetery, Pembroke, Georgia. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
