Mr. Jessie Mikell, age 76, passed into eternal rest on Wednesday morning May 4, 2011 after a brief illness at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was a Bulloch County native and a member of Springhill Missionary Baptist Church. He was a mechanic and also a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Pearlie Mikell of Brooklyn, N.Y.; four daughters Brenda Kinard, Janice Mikell, Kayron Middleton, Lashell(John) Luke all of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a son Allen Todd Mikell of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one sister Larvern Rhodes of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Jessie Mikell will be Tuesday May 10, 2011 at 1pm at Brannen Chapel United Methodist Church, 20 Elm Street, with Pastor Thomas Norman, eulogist. Interment will be held in Springhill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Jessie Mikell will lie-in-state from noon until funeral hour, no viewing after eulogy. Family visitations will be Monday May 9, 2011 from 7-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel in charge of services.
