Mrs. Jeanette Byrd, age 77, of Pembroke, Ga., passed away Sunday August 3rd at St. Joseph's/Candler Hospital in Savannah, Ga. She was a Bryan County native and a member of the House of God Church of Pembroke, Ga, where she served as a deaconess, church secretary, and taught the Sunday School Adult Class. She is a retired seamstress from Pembroke Garment Factory in Pembroke, Ga. She is survived by her loving husband Mr. Remer Byrd of Pembroke, Ga.; her loving son Mr. Paul Byrd of Pembroke, Ga.; her loving sister Mrs. Rosetta Coleman(Frank) of Miami, Fl.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be Friday August 8th from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mrs. Jeanette Byrd will be Saturday August 9th at 11am at The House of God Church Keith Dominion, Pembroke, Ga., with the Elder Gerald Lott, Presiding and Dr. Clary K. Butler, Eulogist/Pastor. Interment will be held in Beautiful Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Pembroke, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
