Mr. James Walter Sabb, age 89, passed away on September 4th at Eagle Health & Rehabilitation Center under the professional care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was a Bulloch County native, but resided in Cincinnati, Ohio for many years before moving back to Bulloch County. He retired as a supervisor from Cincinnati Millicron Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a member of Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church of Cincinnati, Ohio; where he served as a trustee, on the usher board and sung in the men's choir. He was also a community volunteer, participating in events such as voter registration and voting booths. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He was born to the late John Nelson and Hattie Sabb. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Mrs. Mary Sabb of Statesboro, Ga.; a loving daughter Ms. Sheila Sabb of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving grandchildren Jamie Sabb and Michael Lee Richardson Jr. both of Salisbury, N.C.; his loving great grandchildren Karma Sabb and Jamison Sabb both Billings, Montana, and Malichi Sabb of Salisbury, N.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing for Mr. James Sabb will be Friday September 9, 2016 from 1-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. James Sabb will be Saturday September 10, 2016 at 11am at the St. Mary's Baptist Church, 2227 Mallard Pond Road, Statesboro, Ga., with the Pastor Timotheus Mincey, Presiding/Pastor, and the Bishop Lewis Hilton, Eulogist. Interment will be held in Bulloch Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 80 East, Statesboro, Ga., with full military honors. Mr. James Sabb will lie-in-state from 10am until funeral hour. There will be no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
