Mr. James Franklin Reed, age 44, passed Monday April 1st from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a Bulloch County native. He attended the Bulloch County School System and was a 1987 graduate of Savannah High School in Savannah, Ga. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps having served in Desert Storm. He worked as a mechanic for Millwright Local Unit 1263 of Savannah, Ga. He is survived by his son Jamarii Xavier Reed of Atlanta, Ga.; his mother and stepfather Mrs. Rosa(Henry) Wells of Brooklet, Ga.; his father Gary McCoy of Stillmore, Ga.; his sisters Sara Wells, Jacquelyn Wells, Tiffaney Wells all of Brooklet, Ga., and Rosella Wells Mobley of Statesboro, Ga.; his brothers Curtis Harrison and John Paul Wells both of Statesboro, Ga., Jimmy Lee Walker; David Wells of Brooklet, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be Friday April 5, 2013 from 6-7pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Funeral services for Mr. James Franklin Reed will be Saturday April 6, 2013 at 2:30pm in the George Roebuck Gymnasium at Southeast Bulloch High School, Brooklet, Ga., with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Eulogist. Interment will be held in Bulloch Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
