Mr. James Davis Jr., age 56, of Pembroke Ga., passed away on August 22nd at his residence. He was a Duval County native, but resided in Bryan County for many years. He was a member of the Mount Moriah Baptist Church of Pembroke, Ga. He is survived by his loving daughters Jakayla Davis, Takerriya Davis, and Laquesha Davis all of Pembroke, Ga., Vernice Bell of Virginia; his loving sons James Davis III., of Pembroke, Ga., and Tavorus Walker of West Palm Beach, Fl.; a loving mother Mrs. Ella Mae Johnson of Augusta, Ga.; his loving sisters Elaine Cooper, Stephanie (Jeffery) Beard, and Doris Davis all of Augusta, Ga.; his loving brothers John (Rena) Wells and Terrence Davis both of Augusta, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing for Mr. James Davis Jr., will be held Saturday September 3, 2016 from 10-11am at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Pembroke, Ga. Celebration of Life for Mr. James Davis Jr., will be held Saturday September 3, 2016 at 11am at the Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 185 South Poplar Street, Pembroke, Ga., with the Rev. Dr. Francys Johnson, Officiating/Pastor. Interment will be cremation. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
