Mr. James Bailey, age 88 of Pembroke, Georgia, passed peacefully on Friday, February 8th at Hospice Savannah after an extended illness. He was a Bryan County native and a member of Boyds Temple of Pembroke. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II, and the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Beverly Bailey of Pooler, Georgia; his daughters Amanda Chambers and Beverly Corley; his sons James Mutcherson Jr.(Barbara) of Hinesville, Ga., Lenard Palmer, Lewis Corley Jr. of Pooler, Ga., and Larry Corley(Jenell) of Pembroke, Ga.; a brother Thomas Mutcherson(Susie Mae) of Pembroke, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be Friday February 15, 2013 from 7-8pm in the Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel. Funeral service for Mr. James Bailey will be Saturday February 16, 2013 at 11am at Boyd's Temple New Order Holiness Church, Ellabell, Ga., with the Rev. Gilbert Hall, Presiding and Bishop C.C. Singleton, Eulogist/Pastor. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
