Mrs. Jacquelyn Nunnally Jackson, age 62, passed peacefully at Ogeechee Area Hospice after an extended illness on Tuesday May 28th. She was a Bulloch County native and retired after 36 years of educating children from the Bulloch County Board of Education. Upon her retirement she was an educator of Social Studies at Williams James Middle School. She was a 1968 graduate of Williams James High School and 1972 graduate of Savannah State University formerly known as Savannah State College. She was an active member of the Springhead United Methodist Church of Sylvania, Ga., where she served as Youth Coordinator and as a Trustee. She is survived by her daughters Nikeya Jackson and Brandi Jackson both of Statesboro, Ga.; a sister Barbara Lee(Ernest) of Statesboro, Ga.; a brother Oliver Nunnally(Mary Linda) of Statesboro, Ga.; her grandchildren Cameron Jackson, and Jordayn Jackson both of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Jacquelyn Jackson will be Saturday June 1st at 11am in the Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, officiating. Interment will be held in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 80 East, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
