Mrs. Jackie Allen, age 49, passed on Thursday morning February 21st at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was an Effingham County native but resided in Bulloch County for many years. She attended Effingham County High School. She was a former employee of Walmart Superstore of Statesboro, Ga., and was a member of Jerusalem A.M.E Church. She is survived by her husband Mr. Fredrick Allen of Statesboro, Ga.; her sons Jermaine Demetrius Allen and Ali Devon Allen both of Statesboro, Ga.; her mother Mrs. Jessie Mae Jones of Springfield, Ga.; a sister Mrs. Sunday Jones Goldwire(Tony) of Shawnee, Ga.; her brothers MacArthur German of Largo, Fl., Clinton Knight of North Carolina, and Lavon Jones of Virginia; a devoted aunt Reatha Mae Montgomery(Joseph) of Sylvania, Ga.; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be Tuesday February 26, 2013 from 7-8pm in the Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Funeral services for Mrs. Jackie Allen will be held Wednesday February 27, 2013 at 11am in the Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Eulogist. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
