Mrs. Hessie Hardy, age 79, passed on Wednesday evening July 20th at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility after an extended illness. She was a Bulloch County native and a member of the Mount Zion A.M.E Church. She is survived by two sons Mr. Joseph J. (Denise) Hardy of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. James L. (Laura) Hardy of Savannah, Ga.; five sisters Ms. Helen Moss, Mrs. Frances (Eugene) Johnson, and Mrs. Patricia Robertson all of Statesboro, Ga., Mrs. Mary Lizzie Brown of Savannah, Ga., and Mrs. Georgia Hayward of Florida; one brother Mr. Frank (Mary) Walker of Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Hessie Hardy will be held on Saturday July 30, 2011 at 11 am at the Mount Zion A.M.E Church. Rev. Sherry Taylor eulogist. Interment will be held in Bulloch Memorial Gardens. Family visitation will be held Friday July 29, 2011 from 7pm - 8pm in the chapel. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of the services.
