Mr. Herbert VanBuren Tremble, Sr., age 76 of Miami, Fl., passed on Tuesday morning October 4, 2016 at the Memorial Regional West of Pembroke Pines, Fl. He was a Bulloch County native having resided in Miami, Fl., for many years. He attended Savannah State College(now Savannah State University). He graduated with an Associate Degree in Industrial Arts from Miami Dade College. He was a retired self-employed welder with his company Eagle Welding Service of Miami, Fl. He was a member of The Church of Transfiguration of Miami, Fl. He was a United States Army veteran having served in Vietnam Era. He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Verna Tremble of Miami, Fl.; his loving children Ms. Yvette Edwards of New Jersey, Mr. Herbert Tremble II and Mr. Khourtney Tremble both of Miami, Fl.; his loving sisters Mrs. Patricia Gilchrist of Augusta, Ga., Mrs. Latricia Smith of Statesboro, Ga., Ms. Leomia Tremble of Savannah, Ga., and Mrs. Cheryl Smith of Greensboro, N.C.; a loving brother Mr. Maurice Tremble of Statesboro, Ga.; 6 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitation will be Friday October 14, 2016 from 6-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Herbert Tremble Sr., will be Saturday October 15, 2016 at 11am at the Original First A.B. Church, 545 Westside Road, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Emma Jean Owens, Presiding and the Rev. Frankie Lee Owens Sr., Eulogist/Pastor. Interment will be held in the Magnolia Baptist Church Cemetery, 760 Magnolia Church Road, Statesboro, Ga., with full military honors. Mr. Herbert Tremble Sr., will lie-in-state from 10am until funeral hour. There will be no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
