Ms. Gertrude Stowbridge, age 63 of Statesboro, Ga., passed peacefully at Heritage Inn and Rehabilitation Center of Statesboro. She was a Bulloch County native, and a member of Banks Creek Primitive Baptist Church of Portal, Ga. She was employed with Bulloch Memorial Hospital until her health failed. She attended William James High School and was a graduate from Job Network of Statesboro with a CNA Certificate. She is survived by her loving children Jamie Stowbridge and Shanica Stowbridge both of Statesboro, Ga., and Emerald Stowbridge of Irvin, TX.; her loving brothers George (Shirley) Williams of Statesboro, Ga., Freddie Stowbridge of Portal, Ga., and Alex Stowbridge of Hinesville, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services for Ms. Gertrude Stowbridge will be private. Cremation services was entrusted to the professional care of the Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.
