Mr. George Sarratt, age 87, passed away on Monday October 2nd at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center of Augusta, Ga. He was a native of South Carolina. He moved New York and also lived in Philadelphia, but later moved to Bulloch County where he resided for many years. He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church of Register, Ga. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Dorothy Sarratt of Register, Ga.; his loving adopted son Andre Henry of New York; his loving step-children Linda Henry and Danny Henry both of Statesboro, Ga., Caretha Henry Mikell of Melbourn, Fl., and Lorraine Henry of Bronx, N.Y.; three loving sisters; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements for Mr. George Sarratt are incomplete, but will be announced later by Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.
