Mr. George Hines, age 78, of Syracuse, N.Y., passed into eternal rest on Friday April 26th at St. Joseph Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y. He was a Bryan County native but resided in Syracuse, N.Y., for several years. He retired from P and C Warehouse of Syracuse, N.Y. He was a member of Living Word Church of God In Christ of Syracuse, N.Y. He is survived by his daughters Mrs. Joyce Bates(Nathaniel) of Savannah, Ga., Mrs. Sharon Smith and Mrs. Shantina Hines Kyles(Ray) both of Syracuse, N.Y.; his sons Mr. Harvey Williams(Donna) of New Orleans, Louisiana, Mr. Theo Hines of Syracuse, N.Y., and Mr. Jeffery Hines(Robin) of Oswego, N.Y.; his brothers Mr. Doyle Hines Jr. of Syracuse, N.Y., and Mr. Rudolph Hines of Atlanta, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be Saturday May 4th from 11am-1pm at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Groveland, Ga. Funeral services for Mr. George Hines will be Saturday May 4th at 1pm at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Groveland, Ga., with Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Officiating and Rev. Victor Brewton, Pastor. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
