Mr. Frederick Turner, age 65, of Brooklet, Ga., passed away peacefully on Monday evening January 4, 2016 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was a Bulloch County native and a member of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of William James High School. He was employed with Grinnell Corporation(ITT) for many years. He is survived by a loving son Mr. Charles Roberson Turner of Statesboro, Ga.; a loving sister Mrs. Oma Lee(Willie) Roberson of Brooklet, Ga.; a loving brother Mr. Matthew Turner of Brooklet, Ga.; a loving granddaughter Mrs. Dianie Marshell of Augusta, Ga.; a great uncle Mr. Leon Johnson of Savannah, Ga.; and a host of relatives and friends. Family and friends visitation will be held Friday January 8, 2016 from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Frederick Turner will be held Saturday January 9, 2016 at 1pm at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 197 Antioch Road, Brooklet, Ga., with the Rev. Albert Hendley, Presiding, and the Rev. Richard A. Lawrence, Eulogist/Pastor. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Mr. Frederick Turner will lie-in-state from 12pm until funeral hour. There will be no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
