Mr. Frank Palmer Jr., age 70, passed peacefully away on Sunday evening November 8th at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility. He was a Bulloch County native and a member of the Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of class of 1964 and was a retired owner of K&D Trucking Company. He was preceded in death by his wife Irma Jean Cone Palmer. He is survived by his loving children Mrs. Kimberly Yates(Eric) of Lithia Springs, Ga., Mr. David Palmer(Dee) of Newnan, Ga., Mr. Anthony Tony Cone of Valdosta, Ga., Mr. Frank D. Palmer and Ms. Lakeisha Howard both of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving mother Mrs. Jannie Palmer of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving sisters Mrs. Adell Taylor(Lonnie) and Mrs. Margaret Thompson(Emmanuel) both of Nevils, Ga., Mrs. Gloria Pope(Ostella) of Statesboro, Ga., Ms. Betty Palmer of Register, Ga., and Mrs. Audrey Osby(Sheldon) of Douglasville, Ga.; his loving brothers Mr. Joe Palmer(Sylvia) of Savannah, Ga., Mr. Charles Palmer and Mr. Melvin Palmer(Bernistine) both of Statesboro, Ga.; a loving and caring friend Ms. Barbara Howard of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitation will be held Wednesday November 11, 2015 from 6:30-7:30pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Frank Palmer, Jr. will be held Thursday November 12, 2015 at 1pm at the Piney Grove Baptist Church, 1579 Bragan Road, Statesboro, Ga., with the Pastor Morris Reddick, Officiating. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Mr. Frank Palmer, Jr. will lie-in-state from 12pm until funeral hour. There will be no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
