Obituary

Mrs. Ethel Mae Johnson Hall, age 63, passed peacefully away on Wednesday September 2nd at her daughter residence after an extended illness under the professional care of Gentiva Hospice of Savannah, Ga. She was a Candler County native, but resided in Bulloch County for many years. She was employed at the Heritage Inn Nursing home until her health failed. She was a member of the Place of Grace Ministry of Collins, Ga. She is survived by her loving children Ms. Tangila Hall and Mr. Travis Hall both of Statesboro, Ga., and Ms. Lakeyah Newsome of Macon, Ga.; a loving nephew that she raised as a son Mr. Bernard Johnson of Philadelphia, PA.; her loving siblings Ms. Maurine Johnson of Philadelphia, PA., Mr. William Rock(Carolyn), and Mr. Robert Rock(Cynthia) both of Collins, Ga., Mr. Willie Joe Rock(Alline), Mr. Rickey Rock(Videll), and Mrs. Elouise Wynn(Dave) all of Cobbtown, Ga., Mr. Thredrick Rock(Vera) of Lyons, Ga., Mrs. Brenda Fleming(George) of Reidsville, Ga., Mr. Mitchell Rock(Kimberly) of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Wanda Whitaker(Tommy), Mr. Andre Hobbs(Susan) and Ms. Kathy Brunson all of Metter, Ga., Rev. Alton Hobbs of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. Craig Hobbs(Angela) of Brunswick, Ga., and Mr. Frederick Donaldson(Jeanette) of Miami, Fl.; a loving daughter-in-law Ms. Inga Johnson of Statesboro, Ga.; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Home Going Celebration will be held Sunday September 6, 2015 at 2:30pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Lemon Hall, Officiating. Interment will be held in Mt. Pisgah Primitive Baptist Church(Fish Trap) Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
