Mrs. Emma Gordon Mobley, age 93, was born January 7, 1920 to the late Rev. James and Victoria Gordon in Screven County. She was married to the late Willie Hugh Mobley and resided in Savannah, Ga., for most of her life. She departed this life on Thursday morning August 29, 2013 at the Azalea Health and Rehabilitation Center in Metter, Ga. She is preceded in death by her sister Claudia Gordon Duncan. She is survived by her sister Mrs. Lizzie Gordon Scott of Forth Worth, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Services for Mrs. Emma Mobley was held privately. The family wishes to thank everyone for their love, support, and prayers during the passing of their loved one. May God bless each of you. Craig R.
