Mr. Elisha Lester Jr., age 71, passed away on Thursday June 22th at the Oxley Park Health and Rehabilitation Center of Lyons, Ga., under the professional care of Affins Hospice. He was a Bulloch County native and a member of Middle Ground Church of God of Statesboro, Ga., where he served as a Deacon. He is survived by his loving daughters Ms. Charlene Lester and Mrs. Margo (Maurice Byrd) Mercer both of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving sons Mr. Tommy (Bobbie) Lester of Augusta, Ga., and Mr. Timmy (Chanta) Lester of Rosenburg, Texas; his loving sisters Mrs. Sula (WC) Mosley of Portal, Ga., Ms Mae Dell Lester of Statesboro GA and Ms. Annie Mae Lester of Twin City, Ga.; a loving brother Mr. Napoleon (Maria) Young of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitation will be held on Friday June 30, 2017 from 7-8pm in the chapel of the Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Elisha Lester will be held on Saturday July 1st 2017 at 11am at the Historical First African Baptist Church 124 Bobby Donaldson Ave, Statesboro, Ga., and with Pastor Shane Mosley Eulogist Interment will be held in Lees Cemetery.
