Elder Earvin Lee Williams, age 88, of Pembroke, Ga., passed peacefully away into eternal rest on Saturday December 15th at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah, Ga., after a short illness. He was a Long County native having resided in Bryan County for many years. He retired as a maintenance worker with Lanier Primary School in Lanier, Ga. He was the founder and Pastor of the Holy Zion Holiness Church of Pembroke, Ga. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Mary Lee Williams of Richmond Hills, Ga.; two daughters Mrs. Uycle(Robert) Holmes of Ossining, New York, and Mrs. Deloris(David) Williams of Pembroke, Ga.; two sons Mr. Leroy Williams of Ossining, New York, and Mr. Irvin John(Glynis) Williams Jr., of Savannah, Ga.; a sister Mrs. Willie Mae Boyd of Savannah, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Elder Earvin Lee Williams will be Saturday December 22, 2012 at 1pm at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Groveland, Ga., with Bishop Bennie Bacon, eulogist. Interment will be held in the Steven Grove Cemetery, Pembroke, Ga. Family visitation will be Friday December 21, 2012 from 7-9pm at the Holy Zion Holiness Church, Pembroke, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
