Elder Leon Cooper Obituary Elder Leon Earl Cooper, age 66, of Statesboro, GA., passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He is the son of the late Deacon Printice Cooper and Sis. Sarah Mae Cooper. Leon was self employed as a masonry and was a member of The Pentecostal Church of God in Statesboro, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sis. Gladys Cooper; siblings, Mrs. Dorothy Jones, Mrs. Valerie Smith, Mrs. Elizabeth Cooper, Mr. Curtis Cooper and Mr. Randolph Cooper. He is survived by his loving and devoted children, Mrs. Glanesa (Stanley) Scott, Statesboro, GA, Mrs. Anitrice (Antonio) Aguilar, Macon, GA, Mr. Deleon Cooper, Valdez, Alaska, Mr. Terrance (April) Cooper, Statesboro, GA and Mr. Clerrance (Constance) Cooper, Detroit, MI; sisters, Mrs. Marilyn (Robert) Easterling, South Carolina, Mrs. Joyce Cooper and Mrs. Carolyn Cooper, both of Statesboro, GA; brothers, Mr. Jerry Cooper and Mr. Connell Cooper, both of Statesboro, GA. A host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, the PCG family other relatives and friends. Celebration of Life service will be held graveside on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at 2:30p.m. at Eastside Cemetery, 1502 Northside Drive, Statesboro, GA 30458.
