Mr. Edward David Platt (Get-on-Down), age 51, passed away Tuesday morning June 19th at his residence after a brief illness. He was a Bulloch County native and a Construction Worker. He leaves to cherish his wife Ms. Geraldine McMillan of Statesboro, Ga.; a daughter Ms. Jessica McMillan of Statesboro, Ga.; two sons Mr. David McMillan and Tony McMillan both of Statesboro, Ga.; his father Mr. Johnny Platt of Jesup, Ga.; three sisters Ms. Charlotte Platt of Mobile, Alabama, Ms. Eunice Platt and Ms. Teresa Platt both of Hinesville, Ga.; three brothers Mr. Frank Platt, Mr. Jerry Platt, and Mr. Ricky Platt all of Hinesville, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services for Mr. Edward David Platt will be Saturday June 30, 2012 at 2pm at New Corinth Baptist Church, Nevils, Ga., with Rev. Edward Boyd, eulogist. Family visitations will be Friday June 29, 2012 from 7-8 at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of services.
