Mr. Eddie Lee Washington, age 63, of Pembroke, Ga., passed on Thursday September 1st, at Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility after an extended illness. He was a Bryan County native and attended the public school system of Bryan County. He was a member of Little Salem Holiness Church of Groveland, Ga. He is survived by two sisters Mrs. Willie B. Bacon of Pembroke, Ga., and Mrs. Viola Price of Bronx, N.Y.; one brother Mr. Nathaniel Washington of Aiken, S.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 10, 2011 at noon at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Groveland, Ga., with Elder Marion Stewart, eulogist. Interment will be held in Hagin First Christ Holiness Church Cemetery, Hagin, Ga. Family visitation will be held Friday, September 9, 2011 from 7-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel.
