Mr. Eddie Rozier, age 70 of Statesboro, Ga., passed peacefully away on Saturday January 12th at his residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was a Bulloch County native and a retired employee of Robbins Packing Company. He was a member of the St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church of Register, Ga. He is survived by his daughter Mrs. Tasha(Patrick) Whitehurst of Anderson, S.C.; two sons Mr. Mark(Lisa) Rozier and Detrick Rozier both of Florida; three sisters Mrs. Rosetta(Norman) Brown, Ms. Artis Faye Rozier both of Statesboro, Ga., and Mrs. Brenda(Frank) Strowbridge of Bellville, Ga.; four brothers Mr. Bennie Hudson of Ft. Pierce, Fl., Hudson(Helen) Rozier of Portal, Ga., Mr. Kermit(Evelyn) Rozier of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. Ray Charles(May) Rozier of Athens, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be Friday January 18, 2013 from 7-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Funeral services for Mr. Eddie Rozier will be held Saturday January 19, 2013 at 2pm at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Register, Ga., with the Rev. Shun Newsome, Presiding/Pastor, and Rev. Frankie Owens, Eulogist. Interment will be held in the Church Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
