Mrs. Doris Mosley, age 72, of Portal, Ga., passed peacefully on Tuesday June 18th at her residence under the care of Gentiva Hospice. She was a Laurens County native but resided in Bulloch County for many years. She was a member of Portal Church of God in Portal, Ga. She is survived by her husband Brazil Mosely of Portal, Ga.; her daughters Jackie M. Wadley and Voncile M. Hobbs(Nelson) both of Statesboro, Ga., and Connie Harden(Elder Ronnie) of Metter, Ga.; her sons Braziel Mosley Jr. of Tacoma, Washington, Willie Claude Mosley(Pamela) and Anthony Reese both of Portal, Ga., and Earl Mosley of Metter, Ga.; her sisters Gladys James, Annie Ruth James, and Luretha Mosley(Mike) all of Metter, Ga., Helen Dukes of Pembroke, Ga., and Grace Wilkerson(Willie James) of Claxton, Ga.; her brother Earl James of Metter, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be Thursday June 27th from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Ga. Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Mosley will be Friday June 28th at 1pm at Scarboro Grove Baptist Church, Portal, Ga., with Rev. Judy McCrary, Eulogist, the Rev. Roosevelt Jones Sr., Presiding and the Rev. Grant Turner, Pastor. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Mrs. Doris Mosley will lie-in-state from 12pm until funeral hour, no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
