Mr. Dennis Carl Hendrix, age 54, passed away Wednesday night April 24th at East Georgia Regional Medical Center. He was a Bulloch County native and a 1976 graduate of Statesboro High School. He joined the Summerhill Baptist Church at an early age before moving to Savannah, Ga. He was a member of South Valley Baptist Church in Pooler, Ga. He was employed with Emporium Property Management of Savannah, Ga., until his health failed. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Barbara Hendrix of Savannah, Ga., his mother Mrs. Gloria Hendrix of Statesboro, Ga.; his sister Ms. Deborah Sue Hendrix of Indianapolis, IN.; his brothers Mr. Kerry Arthur Hendrix of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. James Russell Hendrix of Indianapolis, IN.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be Monday April 29th from 6:30-7:30pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel Funeral services for Mr. Dennis Hendrix will be Tuesday April 30th at 11am at the Summerhill Baptist Church, Clito Road, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Joe Herrington, Officiating and the Rev. Raphael Smith, Pastor. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Mr. Dennis Hendrix will lie-in-state from 10am until funeral hour, there will be no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
