Mr. Dennis Lee Davis, age 65, passed peacefully away on Sunday morning October 18th under the professional care of Gentiva Hospice. He was a retired employee of Robbins Packing Company and was employed with Georgia Southern University until his health failed. He was a 1968 graduate of William James High School. He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Barbara Davis of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving children Gail Drake, Stanley Lamar Harris, Curtis Lamar Harris, and Donjay Harris all of Statesboro, Ga., Preston Harris Jr. of Boston, Massachusetts, and Lori Harris of Atlanta, Ga.; his loving sisters Rosa Lee Hampton(Frissie) of Frostproof, Fl., Mimi Davis and Linda Saxton both of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitation will be held Friday October 23, 2015 from 6-7pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Dennis Lee Davis will be held Saturday October 24, 2015 at 3pm at the St. Paul Baptist Church, Register, Ga., with the Rev. Mattie Brinson, Presiding and the Rev. Shaun Newsome, Eulogist/Pastor. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
