Deacon Hosea Williams Obituary Deacon Hosea William Sr., age 86, passed peacefully with his family at his bedside on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, under the professional care of Regency Hospice. He was a native of Candler County, but resided in Bulloch County for many years. He retired from the ITT Grinell Cooperation as a machine operator after many years of service and he was briefly employed with Georgia Southern University. Mr. Williams was a faithful member of the Historical First African Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was a member of John Wesley Lodge #161. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Cora Williams of Statesboro, Ga., son Mr. Hosea Williams Jr., of Statesboro, Ga.; a sister Mrs. Lillie Ann McCormick of Charlotte, NC., and a host of other relatives and friends. A walk-through viewing will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020, from 3-6 pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro chapel. Gravesides service will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2020, in Bulloch Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Statesboro, Ga., at 1 pm with the Rev. Craig R.
