Deacon Earl Mikell, age 68, passed away Thursday December 12th at his residence under the professional care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was a Bulloch County native and a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was employed with the Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home. He is survived by a loving daughter Ms. Shirley Shaw of South Carolina; a loving son Mr. Hayden Cheeseboro of Philadelphia, PA.; his loving sisters Ms. Betty Everett of Dayton, Ohio and Mrs. Emma Lee of Sarasota, Fl.; a loving brother Mr. Sonny Mikell of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be held Friday December 20th from 3-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home going celebration for Deacon Earl Mikell will be Saturday December 21st at 11am at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 210 Bulloch Street, Statesboro, Ga., with Pastor Daniel Woodson, Officiating. Interment will be held in Eastside Cemetery, East Oliff Street, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
