Mr. Daniel Lamar Joseph, Jr., age 48 of North Carolina, passed away Friday December 9th at Carolina East Medical Center after a short illness. He was a native of Queens, New York, but resided in Havelock, N.C., for over 10 years. He served in the United States Marine Corp. He was employed as a contractor for the United States Marine Corp of North Carolina. He is survived by his loving mother Mrs. Ruby Grant Joseph of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving aunts Ms. Pearl Grant of Statesboro, Ga., and Mrs. Serena Pollard of Miami, Fl.; his loving uncles Mr. Matthew Grant of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. James Grant of Atlanta, Ga., and Mr. Waldo Grant of New York; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitation will be held Wednesday December 21, 2016 from 6-7pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Daniel Joseph Jr. will be held Thursday December 22, 2016 at 1pm at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 8819 US-301, Glennville, Ga. 30427, with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Officiating. Interment will be held at the cemetery, with full military honors. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
