Mrs. Cora Lee Love Timmons, age 80, passed peacefully away at her residence after an extended illness on Wednesday February 5th under the professional care of Gentiva Hospice. She was a Laurens County native and resided in Bulloch County for many years. She was a member of Second Saint John Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a Church Mother. She is survived by her loving daughters Mrs. Belle Webb, Mrs. Mary Love, and Ms. Oreta Timmons Murray(Eugene) all of Statesboro, Ga., and Mrs. Julia Boston(Harold) of Metter, Ga.; her loving sons Mr. Jerry Timmons(Keicha), Mr. Lavon Timmons, and Mr. Johnny Timmons all of Statesboro, Ga.; a loving sister-in-law Ms. Wyomia Timmons of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing for Mrs. Cora Lee Love Timmons will be Sunday February 9th from 1:00pm until 2:30pm at Second Saint John Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy. 67, Statesboro, Ga. Home Going celebration for Mrs. Cora Lee Love Timmons will be Sunday February 9th at 2:30pm at Second Saint John Missionary Baptist Church, Hwy. 67, Statesboro, Ga., with Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Pastor/Officiating. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. There will be no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
