Mrs. Claudia Gordon Duncan, age 97, passed peacefully away on Thursday morning April 5th at Azalea Nursing Home in Metter, Ga., after an extended illness. She was a native of Screven County and a member of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by two sisters Mrs. Emma Mobley of Metter, Ga., and Mrs. Lizzie Scott of Fort Worth, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Service of remembrance will be held Sunday April 8, 2012 at 3pm in the Simmons Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, with words of comfort by Rev. Craig R. Tremble.
