Mr. Clarence Earvin Childers, age 51, passed on Friday morning March 16th after a long illness at his residence under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. He was a Bulloch County native. He was a Landscaper and a member of St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by four daughters Mrs. Princess Golden of Tacoma, Ga., Ms. Raven Childers of Atlanta, Ga., Ms. Sharnice and Brianna Childers both of Sylvania, Ga.; a son Mr. Travis Sneed of Cobbtown, Ga.; six sisters Mr. Ella(Donald) Youmans, Ms. Sara Childers, Mrs. Mary Tremble, and Ms. Willie M. Childers all of Statesboro, Ga., Mrs. Doris(Thomas) Cuevas of Panama City, Fla., and Mrs. Linda(Ulysses) Hall of Pooler, Ga.; two brothers Mr. Willie James(Eloise) Childers of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. Lee(Catherine) Childers of Savannah, Ga.; a special friend Ms. Cynthia Busby of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Tuesday March 20, 2012 at 11am at Mt. Zion A.M.E Church, Hwy. 24 East, Statesboro, Ga., with Rev. Timothy Mincey, eulogist and the Rev. Sherry Taylor, Pastor. Interment will be in Church Cemetery.
