Mr. Charles Mainer, age 61, of Register, Ga., passed peacefully away on Sunday morning November 2nd at his residence after a short illness. He was a Bulloch County native and a member of Ada Bell Church of God of Register, Ga. He was employed with Georgia Southern University until his health failed. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his loving sisters Ms. Ommie Mainer and Mrs. Dorothy Sarrett(George) both of Register, Ga., and Mrs. Vernell Roberson of Bronx., N.Y.; a loving brother Mr. Joseph Mainer of Register, Ga.; a loving sister-in-law Mrs. Carolyn Lee of Register, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing will be Friday November 7th from 1-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Charles Mainer will be Saturday November 8th at 10:30am in the Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Officiating. Interment will be held in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, Register, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
