Mrs. Charlene Rawls age 58, of Pembroke, Ga., passed peacefully away on Sunday August 19th at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility of Statesboro, Ga., after an extended illness. She was a Bryan County native and a member of The House of God Church of Pembroke, Ga. She was a 1971 graduate of Bryan High School. She was employed with Wal-mart Distribution Center for 10 years and a former owner of Charlene Seafood by the Sea Restaurant in Pembroke, Ga. She was later employed by Oracal USA of Ellabell, Ga. She is survived by her husband Mr. Oliver Rawls Sr., of Pembroke, Ga.; two daughters Ms. Nekenge(Perry) Walker of Oxford, Ga., and Ms. Charleta Rawls(Gerald) of Pembroke, Ga.; two sons Mr. Oliver(Theresa) Rawls, Jr., of Pembroke, Ga., and Mr. Jaylan Rawls of Pembroke, Ga.; three sisters Mrs. Lorraine(Curtis) Bacon of Pembroke, Ga., Mrs. Rodelia Datts of Chester, Va., and Ms. Cynthia Gallishaw of Leomonister, Ma.; three brothers Mr. Jerry(Tiffany) Gallishaw of Pembroke, Ga., Mr. Dannie Gallishaw of Fitchburge, Ma., and Mr. Johnnie Lee(Marilyn) Black of Syracuse, N.Y.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Saturday August 25, 2012 at 1pm at The House of God Church, Byrd's Temple Road, Pembroke, Ga., with the Elder Gerald A. Lott, officiating and Bishop Clary K. Butler, Pastor. Interment will be held in the Stevens Grove Cemetery, Pembroke Ga. Viewing will be Friday August 24, 2012 from 5-7pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel.
