Mrs. Catherine Hodge Smith, age 72, passed away on Wednesday August 6th at Memorial Hospital in Savannah, Ga. She was a Bulloch County native and a member of The Body of Christ Assembly Church in Brooklet, Ga. She is survived by her loving daughters Mrs. Carolyn Lyons(Luke) of Statesboro, Ga., and Mrs. Laquanya Jones(Tay Hicks) of Brooklet, Ga.; a loving son Mr. Jackie Smith(Atyia) of Brooklet, Ga.; a loving sister Ms. Geneva Hodges of Brooklet, Ga.; a loving brother Mr. Harry Hodge Jr.(Jessie Lou) of Brooklet, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be Friday August 15th from 7-8pm at The Body of Christ Assembly Church, Brooklet, Ga. Home Going Celebration for Mrs. Catherine Smith will be Saturday August 16th at 1pm at The Body of Christ Assembly Church, 2013 Brians Circle, with the Pastor Samuel C. Watkins, Officiating. Interment will be held in Bulloch Memorials Garden, Hwy. 80 East, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
