Ms. Cassandra Sam Butler, age 43, of Newark, New Jersey passed peacefully into eternal rest on her birthday December 2, 2015 after an extended illness. She was a 1990 graduate of Weequahic High School of New Jersey. She is survived by her loving and caring mother Ms. Annie Walker of Newark, New Jersey; her loving father Mr. Leonard Butler of Atlanta, Ga.; her loving sisters Cheri Butler, Florene Hawks, and Saniyn Butler; her loving brothers Lenord Butler and Ronald Butler; her loving aunts Ms. Brenda Walker and Mrs. Gloria Hendrix both of Statesboro, Ga.; her loving uncles Mr. James Walker of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. William (Debra) Walker of Yemassee, S.C., and Mr. Henry (Laura) Walker of Augusta, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Viewing for Ms. Casandra Sam Butler will be held Friday December 11, 2015 from 2-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Ms. Casandra Sam Butler will be held Saturday December 12, 2015 at 11am in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro Ga., with the Rev. Danny Ray Bennett, Presiding and the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Eulogist. Interment will be held in the Bulloch Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hwy. 80 East, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
