Carolyn B. Walker was born November 27, 1952 to the late Mr. J.C. Brinson & Mrs. Piccola Turner Brinson in Twin City, Georgia. She received her early education in Emanuel County School System. She was a graduate of Clark Atlanta University in 1974. She was united in Holy matrimony to Albert Lewis Walker on November 30, 1974 to this union on child was born, Albert John Milton Walker. After graduating from Clark Atlanta University she was employed at International Business Machine(IBM) for 30 years; where she was an exemplary employee. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Carolyn became part owner of Payton's Mortuary in Statesboro, Ga. in 1997. Carolyn's hobbies included cooking, keeping a clean home and shopping online. She helped her community in many ways, participating in various civic associations. Carolyn was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Atlanta, Ga. She leaves her legacy to be cherished by her loving husband Albert Lewis Walker, her devoted and caring son Albert John Milton Walker(Ann) of Stone Mountain, Ga.; two granddaughters Phadelati Walker and Carolyn Unique Walker and one grandson Albert John Milton Walker, Jr. all of Stone Mountain, Ga.; one sister Ms. Beaufort Garland of Riverdale, N.Y.; two brothers John C. Brinson of New York City, N.Y., and Terrence (Marty) Brinson of Stone Mountain, Ga.; six sister-in-laws Ernestine Brinson of New York, N.Y., Charlene Brinson of New York City, N.Y., Barbara Howard-Brinson of Statesboro, Ga., Diane Walker of Twin City, Ga., Beatrice Thomas of Atlanta, Ga., and Deland Wilkerson of Kansas City, KS.; three best friends Jackie Burnett of Jonesboro, Ga., Earlene Tomlinson(Travis) of Douglasville, Ga., and Dennis Michael of Clarkston, Ga.; two goddaughters Nalini Babb(Roger) of Smyrna, Ga., and Marlene Trailer of Stackbridge, Ga.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. Home Going Celebration for Mrs. Carolyn Walker will be Saturday November 15th at 2pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Bennie Brinson, officiating. Interment will be held in Canoochee Cemetery, Emanuel County. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel & Gregory B. Levett and Sons Funeral Home, Decatur, Ga. are in charge of arrangements.
