Mr. Carl Roland Taylor, age 50, passed away on Thursday April 21, 2011 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He was a Bulloch County native and a 1978 graduate of Statesboro High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Neest Renea Taylor of Statesboro, Ga.; four daughters Mrs. Deshonda(Jametrius) Fears of Fort Lee Virginia, Ms. Nakiki D. Taylor and Carla T. Taylor both of Atlanta, Ga., Ms. Nakia Hagins of Statesboro,Ga.; a son Mr. Levert Omoniyi of Statesboro, Ga.; six sisters Mrs. Barber Anne(Robert) Black, Mrs. Frances(Ernest) Thompson, Ms. Annie Jackson, Mrs. Erlean Chavers, Ms. Mary Dell Taylor, and Mrs. Eula Mae Young all of Statesboro, Ga., Mrs. Olivia(Roy) Robinson of Newark, New Jersey; seven brothers Mr. Leon Ponder, Mr. John Taylor both of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. Tony Ponder of Jacksonville, Fla., Mr. Larry Taylor of West Palm Beach, Fla., Mr. Charles Taylor of Pelocke, Fla., Mr. Robert(Shanieka) Brown of Effingham, Ga., and Samuel(Livenia) Brown of Savannah, Ga.; a special niece Ms. Shannon Bell; ten grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday April 30, 2011 at 2pm in the Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Ga., with Rev. Charles Weaver, eulogist. Interment will be held in Lakeside First Baptist Church Cemetery, Metter Ga. Family visitations will be Friday April 29, 2011 from 7-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.
