Mr. Calvin June Bug Wallace Jr., age 73, passed on Wednesday May 13th at 3:48am at Georgia Regents University in Augusta, Ga., after an extended illness. He was a Bulloch County native and a member of Brannen Chapel United Methodist Church. He also attended Conerstone Church of Statesboro, Ga. He retired from Georgia Southern University as a custodian. He was a long time employee of Payton's Mortuary for over 50 years of service. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Roberta Washington of Statesboro, Ga.; his loving daughters Ms. Sharon Wallace of Statesboro, Ga., and Mrs. Dorothy Mikell(Terry) of Nevils, Ga.; a loving son Mr. Calvin Wallace III of Tallahassee, Fl.; his loving sisters Mrs. Lavonne Bonnie Seabrooks of Statesboro, Ga., Ms. Cynthia Wallace of Savannah, Ga., and Mrs. Connie Brown of Athens, Ga.; his loving brothers Elder Gary Wallace(Brenda), Mr. Tony Wallace(Gloria), Mr. Bobby Wallace, and Mr. Calvin Marshall Wallace all of Statesboro, Ga., and Rev. Larry Wallace(Marla) of Guyton, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Public viewing for Mr. Calvin Wallace Jr. will be held Friday May 15, 2015 from 2-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Calvin Wallace Jr. will be held Saturday May 16, 2015 at 10:30am at Cornerstone Church, 500 Woodrow Avenue, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Dr. John Harmon, Presiding and Pastor Ed Neubert, Eulogist. Interment will be held in Eastside Cemetery, East Oliff Street, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
