Mrs. Buena "Bea" Raymond, age 94, passed peacefully into eternal rest on Saturday morning February 4th at her residence under the comforting care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was a Bulloch County native and retired as a cook with Ed Cafe in Florida. She attended the Public Schools of Bulloch County. She was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was a member of the church choir. With her love for singing; she sang in various choirs, such as the Historical First African Baptist Church Choir and the Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home Choir. She served as treasurer for the L.B. Lodge for 40 years and also served as secretary for the Statesboro Prayer Band for 41 years and a member of the Christmas Saving Club. She leaves to cherish precious memories her daughter Minister Barbara A. Anderson of Statesboro, Ga.; a brother Mr. Robert Lee Raymond of Statesboro, Ga.; a aunt Ms. Tommy Lanier of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday February 11, 2012 at 11am in the Chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro, Ga., with Rev. Lee Hunter, officiating. Interment will be held in Bulloch Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 80, Statesboro, Ga. Viewing will be held Friday February 10, 2012 from 1-9pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.
