Mrs. Brunetta Bacon-Couch, age 57 of Durham, N.C., passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday January 12th at her residence, under the care of Transitions Hospice Care. She was a Bryan County native, but resided in Durham County for the past 20 years. She was a 1978 graduate of the Bryan County High School and a graduate of the Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor Degree in Consumer Science. She is survived by her loving husband Gregory Couch of Durham, N.C.; a loving son Brandon Couch of Durham, N.C.; a loving mother Mrs. Mary Bacon of Pembroke, Ga.; a loving sister Gwendolyn Bacon (Carl) Jones; her loving brothers Arvon (Darcial) Bacon Jr., of Newnan, Ga., and Kip (Tyesia) Bacon of Pooler, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Home Going Celebration Services for Mrs. Brunetta Bacon-Couch will be Saturday January 20, 2018 at 12pm at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, Groveland, with the Rev. Julian Couch, Officiating, and the Rev. Victor Brewton, Pastor. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. In honoring the family's request, there will be no viewing for Mrs. Brunetta Bacon-Couch. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
