Ms. Billie Virginia Byrd, age 66, passed away peacefully in the presence and spirit of family and friends on Saturday evening June 4th . She was a Bulloch County Native a graduate of William James High School class of 1968. She attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons Mr. Duane Sharrod (Shaquetta) Perkins of Augusta, GA. and Mr. Wayne LaTodd Byrd Perkins of Statesboro, GA.; Sisters Ms. Althea Jackson of Atlanta GA. and Ms. Connie Jackson of Statesboro, GA.; Brothers Mr. Cedric Jackson of Statesboro, GA. and Mr. Terrence Jackson of Savannah, GA.; Grandsons Tevahn, Courtney, Jaleel and Jacob; Grandaughters Trinity, Decima and Lakeria; Great grandchildren Kolbey, Ariane, Aubrey and Noah and a host of other relatives and friends. A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday June 11th at 3:00pm at the Bethlehem Baptist Church 680 Youngblood Rd Statesboro, GA. Words of comfort by the pastor Rev. Stanley Moore.
