Mrs. Betty Reed, age 59, passed on Wednesday morning June 29th at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a native of Montgomery County, but resided in Bulloch County for the pass six years. She retired from Lasalle Nursing Home in Detroit, Michigan. She was a member of Body of Christ Assembly Church in Brooklet, Ga. She is survived by one son Mr. Charlise(Rhonda) Wright of Detroit, Mich.; her mother Mrs. Electa Haynes of Statesboro, Ga.; two sisters Mrs. Elizabeth(Milton) Williams of Stilson, Ga., and Mrs. Sheryl Williams of Statesboro, Ga.; one brother Mr. Thomas(Mava) Haynes of Winston Salem, N.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Tuesday July 5, 2011 at 11am at the Body of Christ Assembly Church, Brooklet Ga., with Pastor Samuel Watkins, officiating. Interment will be held in St. Mary's Baptist Church Cemetery, Ailey Ga.
