Ms. Arlene Lester, age 72, passed away into eternal rest on Saturday evening January 19th at East Georgia Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a 1961 graduate of Williams James High School and attended Jeff College of St. Petersburg, Fl. She was a Bulloch County native and a member of Middleground Church of God. She is survived by her sisters Mrs. Sula(W.C.) Mosley of Portal, Ga., Ms. Maedella Lester and Ms. Annie Mae Lester both of Statesboro, Ga.; brothers Mr. Napolene(Marie) Young of Statesboro, Ga., Mr. Elisha Lester Jr. of Twin City, Ga., and Mr. Waymond Lester of Portal, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family visitations will be Friday January 25, 2013 from 7-8pm at The Second St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 1212 Fair Road, Statesboro, Ga. Funeral services for Ms. Arlene Lester will be Saturday January 26, 2013 at 2:30pm at The Elm Street Church of God, 29 Elm Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Frances Robinson, Eulogist and Elder Alexander Smith, Pastor. Interment will be held in the St. Mary's Baptist Church Cemetery, Mallard Pond Road, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
