Mr. Archie T. Holloway, Jr., age 71, passed peacefully away on Monday February 20th at the Ogeechee Area Inpatient Facility after a short illness. He was a Candler County native, but resided in Bulloch County for many years. He retired from the Grinnell Cooperation of Statesboro, Ga. He attended the True Life Ministries of Brooklet, Ga. He served in the United States Army. He is survived by a loving companion and caregiver Mrs. Gracie Holloway of Statesboro, Ga.; a loving son Mr. Bertram (Kathey) Holloway of Hardeeville, S.C.; a loving sister Mrs. Almareta Wilkerson of Statesboro, Ga.; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitations will be held Thursday February 23, 2017 from 7-8pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Archie T. Holloway, Jr., will be held Friday February 24, 2017 at 11am in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Ronald Wilkerson, Officiating. Interment will be held in Bulloch Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 80 East, Statesboro, Ga., with full military honors. Mr. Archie Holloway, Jr., will lie-in-state from 10am until the funeral hour. There will be no viewing after eulogy. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
