Ms. Annie L. Cutter of Sylvania, Ga., passed peacefully away at her residence with her family and friends by her bedside on Friday July 29, 2011 after a short illness under the excellent care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was a Screven County native having lived in New York for many years. She retired from the Hotel Exchange of New York City. She was a member of New Waters Grove Baptist Church of Sylvania, Ga. She is preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Jeannette Cutter and two siblings. She is survived by five sisters Mrs. Lucille Greene of Sylvania,Ga., Mrs. Christine(Lee) Natson and Mrs. Melvina Houston both of Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. Jerline Simpson of Smyrna, Ga., and Dr. Gwen-dolyn Cutter of Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers Mr. David Cutter and Mr. John Cutter both of Sylvania, Ga.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 11am at New Waters Grove Baptist Church, Sylvania Ga., with Rev. Willie Givens, officiating. Interment will be held in Church Cemetery. Ms. Annie Cutter will lie-in-state from 10am until funeral hour. Viewing will be Wednesday August 3, 2011 from 3-7pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel.
