Mr. Alvin Maruice King, age 47 of Macon, Ga., passed into eternal rest on Saturday May 16th at The Medical Center of Georgia in Macon, Ga. He was a Chatham County native but resided in Bibb County for many years. He was a 1986 graduate of Statesboro High School. He was employed with Green Machine Welding Company of Macon, Ga., until his health failed. He was a member of the St. Paul C.M.E Church of Savannah, Ga. He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Janice King of Fort Valley, Ga.; his loving children Savannah Elizabeth King and Alvin Maurice King Jr., both of Fort Valley, Ga., Brittany Patrice Scott and Maurice Shavez Warnick both of Savannah, Ga.; his loving mother Mrs. Elizabeth King of Savannah, Ga.; two loving aunts Mrs. Louise Hendrix of Statesboro, Ga., and Ms. Blanche King of Jacksonville, Ga., a loving uncle Mr. Harry King of Patterson, N.J.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Public viewing will be held Friday May 22, 2015 from 3-8pm at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Satesboro Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Alvin King will be held Saturday May 23, 2015 at 1pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, 238 West Main Street, Statesboro, Ga., with the Rev. Craig R. Tremble, Officiating. Interment will be held in Mt. Zion A.M.E Church Cemetery, Hwy. 24 East, Statesboro, Ga. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
