Mr. Allen Wallace, Jr., age 68 of Pembroke, Ga., passed away on Sunday June 11th at St. Joseph Hospital in Savannah, Ga. He was a Bryan County native and a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church of Pembroke, Ga. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War. He retired from the Bryan County Public Works Department. He is survived by his loving wife Mrs. Mary Wallace of Pembroke, Ga., his loving children Mrs. Cassandra Evette (Rev. John) Hill of Ellabell, Ga., Pastor Mary Ellen (Min. Alfred) Jacobs of Statesboro, Ga., and Mr. Allen Wallace III of Pembroke, Ga.; his loving sisters Ms. Rena Mae Wallace of Los Angeles, California, Ms. Linda Wallace of Pembroke, Ga., and Mrs. Laura Brown (James) of Statesboro, Ga., three loving grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends visitations will be held Friday June 16, 2017 from 6-7pm in the chapel of Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel. Home Going Celebration for Mr. Allen Wallace, Jr., will be held Saturday June 17, 2017 at 1pm at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, 244 Jerusalem Church Road, Pembroke, Ga., with the Apostle Cheristerlyn Brooks, Presiding, the Rev. James Howard, Eulogist and the Rev. Victor Brewton,Pastor. Interment will be held at the Church Cemetery, Pembroke, Ga., with full military honor. Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Pembroke Chapel are in charge of arrangements.
